Novena Day -8
Novena Day -9
United as one parish family, the faithful prayed with devotion, placing their intentions before Mother Mary and seeking her loving intercession and blessings as they continue their spiritual journey towards the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Eucharistic celebration was followed by the Novena prayers, led by Fr Alwyn and Fr Edwin on September 6 and 7.
The cherished tradition of offering flowers to Mother Mary once again brought a special beauty to the celebration. With hearts filled with love and gratitude, children offered flowers as a humble expression of their faith, devotion and thanksgiving to our Blessed Mother.
The novena concluded on a cheerful note as ice cream, sandwich and juice, was distributed among the parishioners. This simple gesture added a refreshing and joyful touch to the celebration, encouraging moments of fellowship and togetherness within the parish.
The eight and ninth day of the Novena was a beautiful blend of prayer, devotion, gratitude and fellowship. As the days of preparation came to an end, the parish remains united in faith, looking forward with joyful hearts to the much awaited celebration of Monthi Fest in honour of the Nativity of Mother Mary.
