The Society of St Vincent de Paul (SSVP), Valencia, distributed groceries and fresh vegetables to 70 needy families at Ferrer Hall on September 7, marking the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

SSVP Valencia President Julian DSouza welcomed the gathering. Parochial Administrator Fr Edwin Correa invoked God’s blessings on the occasion.

The programme was attended by Fr Alwyn Crasta Assistant Parish Priest, SSVP Valencia President Julian DSouza, Secretary Flavy DAlmeida, Treasurer Ronald Rodrigues and SSVP members.

The SSVP Valencia team expressed its sincere gratitude to all the sponsors and well-wishers whose generous support made the distribution possible. The initiative reflected the spirit of compassion, sharing and service to those in need.
