The Catechism Day Celebration for 2025 took place on February 23rd, with a joyful gathering at our church. The event commenced with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration, followed by the much-anticipated prize distribution and a vibrant cultural program.
The special guest for the event was Fr Rajesh Rosario, the Treasurer and Professor of Dogmatic Theology at St Joseph Seminary, Jeppu Mangalore. The program was presided over by Fr Roque DSa, our beloved Parish Priest, alongside Fr Pradeep Rodrigues, Assistant Parish Priest, Ronald Rodrigues Vice-President of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), Rita Menezes Secretary of PPC, and Emilda Monteiro, the Sunday Catechism Coordinator.
During the prize distribution, students who achieved 100% attendance and top marks in the Catechism exam were recognized and awarded. Their dedication and hard work were celebrated with great enthusiasm.
To add to the excitement, all the students were treated to noodles, juice, and ice cream, creating a delightful atmosphere.
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the event, making it a memorable day for our young learners. We look forward to the continued growth and learning in our Catechism classes.
