St Vincent Ferrer Kindergarten celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
As part of the celebrations, students enthusiastically participated in a National Flag colouring activity. The children were introduced to the significance of the colours of our National Flag saffron symbolising strength and courage, white representing peace and green representing growth and prosperity. They also learnt about the Ashoka Chakra and its 24 spokes and were made aware of the significance of Independence Day.
The children were encouraged to sing patriotic songs, which helped them understand the values of freedom, togetherness and unity in an enjoyable and age appropriate manner. As part of the Independence Day celebrations, sweets were distributed to the children, adding to the joy and excitement of the occasion. The celebration concluded with our little ones singing the National Anthem with pride and respect, making the occasion truly memorable.
