St Ann’s Convent, which is situated in the jurisdiction of Valencia parish belongs to the congregation of the sisters of St Ann. On December 10 1834, this congregation was founded by the pious couple Carlo Tancredi and Julia Barolo of Italy, with a intention of educating the children and youth and their Christian formation. The foundation which was laid then soon started spreading all over the world. On May 15 2003, by the gracious providence of God and through the generosity of Carmine Fernandes and family, they received a house for the candidates. They are located behind Roshini Nilaya convent and come under St Ann ward.
