On 30th June 2025, NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist Michael DSouza, accompanied by his team members Oswald Rodrigues and Stephen Pinto, visited Valencia Church and viewed the renovated homes to witness the outcome of the project.
They were warmly welcomed by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr Roque DSa, along with Parish Council Vice-President Ronald Rodrigues, SSVP Valencia President Julian DSouza, Vincent Mendonca, and Baptist.
A brief interaction was held at the church, followed by a visit to the renovated houses. The initiative stands as a testament to the spirit of community service and the church’s commitment to supporting the underprivileged.
St Vincent Ferrer Church Valencia is proud to announce the successful construction of a new house and renovation of five houses, undertaken by the St Vincent De Paul Society (SSVP), Valencia chapter. This charitable initiative was made possible through the generous support of NRI philanthropist Michael DSouza, in collaboration with CODP, the SSVP Valencia, Basic needs funds of the parish.
