A spiritually enriching Recollection and Get-Together for all Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion was held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Valencia Church and Ferrer Hall. The event aimed to provide spiritual renewal, offer practical guidance, and strengthen fellowship among the ministers who faithfully serve the parish community.

The evening commenced at 6:15 PM in the church with a profound session of Recollection and Eucharistic Adoration led by Fr Rohith DCosta, Director of Mangala Jyothi – Mangalore Diocesan Biblical, Catechetical and Liturgical Centre DBCLC. During the one hour reflection, Fr Rohith emphasized the sacred responsibility entrusted to Extraordinary Ministers in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ. He spoke about the reverence and dignity required in handling the Eucharist and offered spiritual and practical insights into the celebration of the Holy Mass.

At 7:15 PM, the gathering moved to Ferrer Hall, where the second part of the evening began. A short stage program was held. Ronald Rodrigues, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council, shared essential guidelines and thanked the ministers for their dedicated service. Fr Roque DSa, Parish Priest, addressed the gathering with words of encouragement, urging everyone to continue serving with humility and love.
