“May these vehicles be safe from all harm, and may those who travel in them be guarded by your angels, O Lord, and arrive at their destinations in peace and joy.”
A special Vehicle Blessing Ceremony was held at Valencia Church on October 1st, 2025, following both the 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM Masses. The blessing was led by Fr Roque and Fr Pradeep both in the morning and evening, with a heartfelt prayer for the safety and protection of all drivers and their vehicles.
As part of the ritual, the priests sprinkled holy water on the vehicles and offered prayers, invoking God’s guidance and protection. The ceremony was attended by parishioners and visitors who brought their vehicles cars, bikes, and even bicycles to be blessed.
Following the morning blessing, a grand breakfast was graciously sponsored by Romeo and Roshan Saldanha of St Antony Motors, Valencia, for all those present.
The event was a beautiful reminder of God’s presence in every journey we undertake and a gesture of gratitude for the gifts of mobility and travel.
