Golden Jubilee Hall Glows with the Vibrance of Viva Valencia

The Golden Jubilee Hall came alive with vibrant energy as the much-awaited Viva Valencia Traditional Food Fest delighted parishioners from 5:30 p.m. onwards. Organised in aid of Mission Sunday 2025, the event offered an irresistible spread of traditional pork, beef and chicken dishes, along with a variety of delicious short eats lovingly prepared by different wards and a refreshing mocktail counter. The overwhelming response saw all food sold out by 8:00 p.m.

Adding to the festive spirit, fun games for children were joyfully led by Sandra Lobo, Lily Furtado, Janet Pereira and their enthusiastic team. A lively round of Housie kept the crowd entertained, while DJ Nikhil filled the evening with energetic beats. Vincent Mendonca kept the program flowing smoothly as the MC.

Heartfelt gratitude was extended to all the sponsors who generously contributed items and resources to support the event. A special note of appreciation was offered to the ICYM and YCS members for their dedicated efforts in organising this memorable celebration, which brought parishioners together in a spirit of unity and joy, along with the support of the Parish Council.
