Sunday, 7th December 2025 turned into a heart warming day of service and togetherness as members of St Antony B Ward, led by Gurkar Cecilia Monteiro and ward members, visited Ashram De Mercede Panir for an evening of outreach.
Setting out from the ward around 4:00 PM, the group carried with them grocery provisions thoughtfully arranged for the children at the home. Upon arrival, they were welcomed by a lively and cheerful gathering of over a hundred boys and girls, all immersed in fun activities. The ward members quickly joined the joyful atmosphere playing games, sharing laughter and engaging with the children in simple yet meaningful ways.
In addition to groceries, the team distributed snacks and refreshments, adding to the excitement of the evening. Watching the children enjoy the treats and interact freely made the moments even more special.
Sr Luciana, along with Sr Arogya and Sr Sunitha, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the visit, acknowledging not just the material support but the genuine time and affection shared with the children.
The visit turned out to be a memorable and fulfilling experience for everyone involved. More than a charitable act, it was a celebration of joy, connection, and community spirit one that St. Antony B Ward members will cherish.
