The newly constituted Parish Pastoral Council took the oath of office on December 31, 2025, during the New Year’s Eve Thanksgiving ceremony. The council will officially come into effect on January 1, 2026 and its term will conclude on December 31, 2028.
The oath-taking ceremony was led by the Parish Priest, Fr Roque DSa, who also serves as the President of the Parish Pastoral Council.
Ronald Rodrigues, who was re-elected as Vice President, was the first to take the oath, followed by Dr Leonilda Aquinas, who was newly elected as the Parish Council Secretary. This was followed by the oath-taking of the Parish Finance Committee members: Louis J. Pinto, Anil Lobo, Lizzy Pinto, Molly Pinto, Leena Monteiro, Valerian DSouza, Louis Rodrigues, and Julian DSouza.
Thereafter, a general oath-taking ceremony was held for all Parish Pastoral Council members. This included the newly elected and re-elected Ward Gurkars, Ward Representatives, Heads of Pious Associations and Heads of Religious and Educational Institutions, who are members of the Parish Pastoral Council.
The parish community congratulates the new council members and prays for God’s guidance and blessings as they serve the parish in the years ahead.
