Parish Feast Joyfully Celebrated at Valencia Church

In an atmosphere of reverence, joy and togetherness, the parish feast of St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia was solemnly celebrated on Sunday, 25 January 2026, marking a significant and cherished moment in the life of the parish.

The celebrations began at 8.15 a.m. with the distribution of the “Candles of Honour” by Parish Priest Fr Roque DSa, to recognize and honour the members of the Parish Pastoral Council and those who contributed towards the celebration of the feast. The names of the honorees were read out by Ronald Rodrigues, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council.

At 8.30 a.m., the solemn Festal Eucharistic Celebration was held, with Rev. Msgr Fr Maxim Noronha, Vicar General of the Diocese of Mangalore, as the Main Celebrant.

Fr Roque DSa expressed heartfelt gratitude to all parishioners for their generous contributions, active participation and wholehearted cooperation, which made the parish feast a grand success.

Approximately 1,100 parishioners participated in the celebration. The festive gathering concluded with a breakfast served to all, fostering a spirit of unity, joy and fellowship among the faithful.
