In a deeply spiritual and joyous celebration, 26 children of the parish received their First Holy Communion during the 8:00 AM Mass on 3 May 2026. The sacred occasion marked an important milestone in the faith journey of the young communicants, as they partook in the Eucharist for the very first time.
The solemn Eucharistic celebration was led by Parish Priest Fr Roque DSa as the main celebrant. He was joined by several esteemed clergy who concelebrated the Mass, including Fr Pradeep Rodrigues Assistant Parish Priest; Fr Rajesh Rosario Rector of St Joseph Seminary, Mangalore; Fr Clany DSouza Rector of Gladsom Home Mangalore, Fr Stephen DSouza Chancellor of Udupi Diocese and Fr Ajay SJ Fatima Retreat House Mangalore.
The church was filled with an atmosphere of reverence and joy as families, catechists and parishioners gathered to witness and celebrate this special sacrament. The children, dressed in white, symbolizing purity and new life in Christ, participated devoutly in the liturgy.
This memorable celebration will remain a cherished moment in the lives of the children and their families, strengthening their bond with Christ and the Church community.
