Nithyadhar A Ward joyfully celebrated its Ward Feast on 27 June 2026 with devotion, fellowship and festivity.
The celebration began with a thanksgiving Mass at 4:30 PM. The mass led by Fr Cyprian Pinto Parish priest as the main celebrant. In which the ward members actively participated in the liturgy. As part of the offering to the church, the ward members presented groceries, wine, mass hosts and candles.
Following the Holy Mass, a get-together was held at Ferrer Hall. Parish Priest Fr Cyprian Pinto, was the guest for the evening, while Ronald Rodrigues, vice-president, and Leeda Aquinas, Secretary of the Parish Council, were the Guests of Honour.
During the program, the ward report was presented, highlighting the activities and achievements of the ward. Zeena Machado and Renita DSouza were specially honoured in recognition of their selfless service to the ward. The children of the ward were also felicitated for their outstanding achievements.
The evening featured a vibrant cultural programme with dance and singing performances. A meaningful skit was enacted, beautifully portraying the graces received through the intercession of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour. Games were also conducted, adding joy and liveliness to the celebration.
The Ward Feast concluded with a dinner, bringing the evening to a warm and joyful end.
