ICYM Valencia Unit celebrated Vanamahotsav 2026 with a meaningful tree plantation drive on Sunday, July 26 2026 at 9.00 am at the church cemetery, reaffirming its commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable living.

The program commenced with the planting of saplings in the church cemetery, symbolising the associations collective responsibility towards protecting nature and creating a greener future.

The event was graced by Parish Priest Fr Cyprian Pinto and Assistant Parish Priest Fr Alwyn Crasta. Also present were ICYM Valencia Unit President Neha DSouza, Secretary Ashel DSouza members of the ICYM Valencia Unit and numerous parishioners who actively participated in the plantation drive.

The initiative reflected ICYM Valencia’s commitment to environmental stewardship and inspired parishioners to take an active role in conserving nature. The event concluded with a message that collective efforts, however small, can make a lasting impact on the environment.
