St Vincent Ferrer Kindergarten celebrated Teachers’ Day on September 3rd with a joyful and heartfelt programme dedicated to honouring the teachers who nurture, inspire and shape the lives of our young learners.

The celebration began with a prayer song by the LKG students, followed by heartfelt speeches from children of the Nursery, LKG and UKG classes, expressing their love and gratitude towards their teachers. The Playgroup and Nursery children delighted everyone with a lively action song, while a graceful solo dance performance by an LKG student added a special charm to the celebration. The UKG students also presented a beautiful performance as a tribute to their teachers.

The occasion was honoured by the esteemed presence of Parochial administrator Fr Edwin Correa, Assistant Parish Priest Fr Alwyn Crasta, Vice President Ronald Rodrigues and Chief Guest Emilda Monteiro.

In her inspiring address, Emilda Monteiro spoke about the true meaning of being a teacher and how kindness and care can transform a child’s life.

Fr Edwin, in his address spoke about the immense opportunities available to children today and appreciated the confidence and grace with which the young students performed. He also acknowledged the dedication and hard work of the teachers behind every child’s growth and achievement.

The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, bringing a beautiful end to a memorable day filled with gratitude, appreciation and joy.
