Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) Valencia Unit organised Pratibha Puraskar 2026 on 19 July 2026 to felicitate the meritorious students of Valencia Parish who secured 85% and above in the SSLC and PUC examinations. During the program, 9 SSLC students and 16 PUC students were honoured for their outstanding academic performance.
Program was graced by Fr Cyprian Pinto Parish Priest and Fr Alwyn Crasta Assistant Parish Priest. Also present were Flavia Menezes President Catholic Sabha Valencia Unit, Steevan Rodrigues First Vice President Catholic Sabha Mangalore Diocese, Patrick DSouza Ex-President of Catholic Sabha Episcopal City Deanery and Nancy DSouza Secretary Catholic Sabha Valencia Unit, along with the office bearers and members of the unit, who joined in felicitating the students.
As part of its commitment to promoting education, Catholic Sabha Valencia Unit awarded scholarships of ₹10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand) each to two students of Valencia Parish to support their higher education. In addition, CLC Valencia presented scholarships of ₹10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand) each to five students, further assisting deserving students in pursuing their academic aspirations.
The program was compered by Dolphy Saldanha. Program concluded on a joyful note, reaffirming the commitment of the Catholic Sabha Valencia Unit and CLC Valencia to promote education and support deserving students.
