The Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) Valencia Unit organized Pratibha Puraskar 2025 on July 13, 2025, to honor and felicitate students of the parish who excelled in their SSLC and PUC examinations for the academic year 2024–2025.
Students who secured above 85% in their board exams were felicitated in a ceremony held at the parish. The program recognized the hard work and dedication of the young achievers and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
Present at the event were Fr Roque DSa, Parish Priest, and Fr Pradeep Rodrigues, Assistant Parish Priest, Ronald Rodrigues, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council, who joined the Catholic Sabha Valencia Unit members in honoring the students. The dignitaries included Lizzie Pinto, President of the Catholic Sabha Valencia Unit, along with members Steevan Rodrigues, Patrick DSouza, Jessy Barreto, Dafney Britto, Flavy Menezes, and Dolphy Saldanha.
As part of their commitment to supporting education, the Catholic Sabha also awarded scholarships of ₹10,000 each to two students and CLC Valencia awarded scholarships of ₹10,000 each to four meritorious students to assist them in pursuing their higher education.
The event was a heartwarming celebration of academic success and a strong encouragement for the youth of the parish to aim high while staying rooted in faith and community values.
