Diocesan priest’s cemetery blessing held at Valencia
The faithful gathered in solemn observance for All Souls’ Day on 2 November 2024, in the Mangalore Diocese to remember and pray for the souls of departed priests who served in the various churches and community. The commemoration began with a Eucharistic Mass at 7.00 am led by Msgr. Maxim Noronha, Vicar General of the Mangalore Diocese, as the main celebrant. Parish Priest Fr Roque and Assistant Parish Priest Fr Pradeep Rodrigues co-celebrated the service alongside him.
Following the Eucharistic Mass, Msgr. Noronha and the clergy led a blessing of the graves of the departed priests, offering prayers for their eternal rest. The event brought together parishioners, family members of the departed marking a heartfelt day of remembrance within the diocese.
