In a heartwarming gesture of compassion and service, members of the Guardian Angel Ward visited the De Mercede Orphanage in Paneer on Monday, 20th October. The visit was a day filled with joy, entertainment, and meaningful interaction, leaving lasting smiles on the faces of the 110 young inmates.
Under the able leadership of Gurkar Diana Fernandes and with the support of ward representatives Ronald Rodrigues and Flavy DAlmeida, the team organized a vibrant program for the children. The ward members enthusiastically entertained the inmates with lively songs, spirited dances, and engaging games. Every child participated with delight and enthusiasm.
In addition to the entertainment, the team distributed gifts to all the inmates and ensured that everyone was treated to delicious snacks. The joy and excitement on the children’s faces spoke volumes of the impact the visit had on their hearts.
As part of the outreach, the ward members also donated essential goods to the orphanage, fulfilling some of the immediate needs of the institution.
The visit not only brought cheer to the children but also strengthened the spirit of service and fellowship among the ward members. It was truly a day of sharing, caring, and spreading the love of Christ through action.
May such acts of kindness continue to inspire and bring light into the lives of those in need.
