The Saheli Valencia unit successfully organized an engaging and informative program on Healthy Heart today, featuring renowned cardiologist Dr Pradeep Pereira. The event began on a melodious note with a prayer song by the Saheli group, setting a warm and reflective tone for the evening.
Lucy Leena DSouza served as the emcee, seamlessly guiding the program. Leena Monteiro, President of Saheli, extended a heartfelt welcome to all attendees. Dr Roseveera Rodrigues introduced the esteemed resource person, Dr Pereira highlighted his expertise and dedication in the field of cardiology.
In his talk, Dr Pereira addressed vital topics including the causes of heart problems, preventive measures to maintain heart health, and the management of conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. His session was interactive, with Dr Pereira patiently answering all questions raised by the enthusiastic audience.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Secretary Janet Caldeira, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the program’s success.
