On 22nd March 2026, members of St Ann Ward organised a heartfelt charity visit to Cheshire Home, demonstrating a spirit of compassion and community service. Around 15 ward members participated in the visit, dedicating their evening to interacting with the residents, sharing moments of joy, care and companionship.

The visit was carried out under the leadership of Ward Gurkar Julian DSouza, with the support of Ward Representatives Valerian Monis and Elveera Rego. As part of their outreach initiative, the ward also donated essential grocery items to the Home, contributing to the well-being of its residents.

The Gurkar, ward representatives and all participating ward members were present during the visit, making it a meaningful and collective effort. This initiative truly reflected the values of kindness and service, bringing comfort, happiness  and a sense of belonging to the residents of Cheshire Home.
