On March 31st, members of the Holy Family ward embarked on a heartfelt journey to St Lawrence Shrine in Bondel for a time of prayer and reflection. The day, dedicated to spiritual nourishment, was made even more meaningful with a visit to a Snehadeep orphanage that supports children affected by HIV/AIDS.
After their prayerful visit to the shrine, the ward members continued their journey with a visit to the orphanage, where they brought joy, kindness, and support to the children. With generous contributions, the ward provided a month’s supply of groceries to the orphanage, ensuring that the children would have their basic needs met.
The day was filled with fun and laughter as engaging games were organized, and prizes and gifts were distributed to the children. The highlight of the visit was an ice cream treat, shared by all, creating a sense of unity and happiness among the children and visitors alike.
The children, deeply moved by the visit, expressed their heartfelt gratitude with sincere thanks and prayers, making the entire experience profoundly touching for everyone involved.
This visit not only brought a sense of joy and companionship to the orphanage but also left a lasting impact on the members of the Holy Family ward, reinforcing the importance of kindness, generosity, and community support.
