St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia, observed Maundy Thursday with great reverence and devotion on Thursday, April 17, 2025. The Holy Eucharist, commemorating the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with His disciples, was celebrated at 6:00 PM on the church grounds.
The solemn liturgy was led by the Parish Priest, Fr Roque DSa, with Fr Pradeep Rodrigues (Asst. Parish Priest) served as co-celebrant.
In remembrance of Jesus’ act of humility during the Last Supper, Fr Roque DSa performed the traditional Washing of the Feet, symbolically washing the feet of twelve parishioners, reflecting Christ’s call to service, love, and humility.
The faithful gathered in large numbers to reflect on the significance of Christ’s sacrifice and His commandment of love and service. The service concluded with adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, inviting the congregation to spend time in silent prayer and reflection.
