On 31 May, following the celebration of the Holy Mass, parishioners gathered in devotion to participate in a special Rosary recitation held in front of the grotto. The prayerful event, accompanied by a serene candlelight vigil, was organized by the Legion of Mary, Saheli, and the Secular Franciscan Order.
A large number of parishioners joined in the solemn devotion, which marked the culmination of the month of May traditionally dedicated to honoring Mother Mary.
Parish Priest Fr Roque led the gathering in reflection, explaining the profound significance of the Rosary in our spiritual lives. He also noted that countless devotees around the world, especially in holy pilgrimage sites like Lourdes and Fatima, continue to turn to the Rosary as a powerful prayer of intercession and peace.
Fr Roque expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the organizing groups and all attendees for their active participation and devotion. He concluded the evening with a special blessing.
Assistant Parish Priest, Fr Pradeep Rodrigues, was also present for the vigil, joining the faithful in prayer and support.
This beautiful and spiritually enriching event was a fitting close to the Marian month.
