On May 25, 2025, members of Velankanni Ward paid a heartfelt visit to Karunmaya Ashram, spending quality time with the residents and bringing smiles to many faces.

The visit, organized under the able leadership of Gurkar Meera Pinto, along with Ward Representatives Melwyn DAlmeida and Janet Pereira, aimed to spread joy and offer support to the underprivileged. The ward members entertained the inmates with music, interactive activities, and warm conversations, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere.

As part of their outreach, the team also donated grocery items to assist with the daily needs of the Ashram’s residents, demonstrating their commitment to serving the community.
