The faithful people gathered in deep reverence on November 1, 2025, to mark All Souls’ Day, a day dedicated to remembering and praying for the departed. The solemn 5:00 p.m. Mass was celebrated by Parish Priest Fr Roque DSa, together with Fr Praveen Amrith Martis (Administrator of St Antony Ashram), Fr Jencil Alva (Professor at St Joseph’s Seminary, Jeppu), and Fr William Barrocas.
In his homily, Fr Roque highlighted the sacred significance of All Souls’ Day, A time to recall and pray for the faithful departed while renewing hope in the promise of eternal life. The heartfelt liturgy drew a large gathering of parishioners who united in prayer, remembrance, and faith.
After the Mass, the congregation moved to the church cemetery for the blessing of graves. Fr Pradeep led prayers for the repose of souls, seeking comfort and peace for the families present. He was joined by Fr Roque, Fr Praveen, and Fr Jencil. As the priests solemnly walked through the cemetery, blessing each grave with devotion and reverence.
Newly constructed Niches was blessed during the occasion by parish priest.
The evening’s observance stood as a touching expression of love, faith and remembrance a testament to the community’s enduring connection with their departed loved ones and their shared belief in life everlasting.
